Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah was delighted with his goal in their Super Cup victory over Napoli.

The former Udinese midfielder netted in the 4-2 Italian Super Cup victory in extra time and was named Man of the Match.

"We played a very difficult game, as Napoli are a side to be respected and not a 'normal' team.

"We didn't give up in the first half when trailing 2-1, fought back and then scored twice in extra time.

"This showed the team spirit. The first day I arrived at this side, the Coach said everyone helps each other and we cannot give up."
