Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has undergone knee surgery this week.
The Ghana international is expected to miss four months.
"Kwadwo Asamoah was in Barcelona [today] to undergo arthroscopic surgery designed to fix torn cartilage in his left knee." Juventus confirmed.
"Operated on by Dr. [Ramon] Cugat and accompanied by club doctor [Andrea] Causarano, the Ghanaian is expected to return to competitive action within three to four months."
