Juventus have opened talks with Atalanta for fullback Federico Peluso.

Giorgio Chiellini's injury has forced Juve to intensify their pursuit of the defender, says Tuttosport with a €4 million bid already lodged.

But Atalanta rate Peluso closer to €7 million and are refusing to budge.

A compromise could be struck if Juve are prepared to throw in young Ghanaian Richmond Boakye, currently on-loan at Sassuolo, as part of their offer.
