Juventus have made contact with Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Axel Witsel.Calciomercato.com says Juve see the Belgium international as a replacement for Paul Pogba, who could be sold at the end of the season.
Juve have made an approach to Witsel's camp in the last 24 hours to register their interest and to learn if he is interested in a move to Turin.
Witsel is ready to leave Russia and has talked up the prospect of moving to England.
Juve hope to add the 26 year-old, but will need to consider his huge wages and Zenit's valuation before taking the next step in their pursuit.
