Juventus striker Nicklas Bendtner has undergone thigh surgery.
The Dane, on-loan from Arsenal, picked up the problem in Wednesday's Coppa Italia victory over Cagliari and is set to be out for up to three months.
Bendtner was assessed by Finnish surgeon Sakari Orava at the weekend.
He was then given a medical by Arsenal consultant Ernest Schilders who backed up Orava's recommendation for surgery on the adductor tendon in his left thigh.
