Juventus legend Fabio Cannavaro would welcome taking the Italy job.
Cannavaro has been suggested as a possible heir to Cesare Prandelli.
"It is an intriguing proposal and he'd be honoured, but there is little concrete to talk about right now," his agent Gaetano Fedele told Sky Sport Italia.
"When there is a generational change, doing something different can be the right choice."
