Juventus left reeling by raft of injuries ahead of Man City clash

Juventus will go into their Champions League clash with Manchester City without several senior stars.

Patrice Evra, Sami Khedira, Hernanes and Martin Caceres are all expected to miss. Roberto Pereyra and Kwadwo Asamoah are already out of action.

Juve released a statement confirming Khedira “will train separately next week," so won't be fit to face Manchester City.

Evra sprained his ankle against Milan and limped off after just 28 minutes. “His condition will be monitored over the course of the coming days.

“Also on the sidelines was Hernanes, who reported discomfort in his adductor muscle and will undergo tests tomorrow.

“Finally, Martin Caceres' condition will continue to be assessed on a daily basis as he bids to shake off a thigh strain."
