Juventus winger Milos Krasic has admitted to regretting turning down a loan move to Tottenham in the winter.
The Serbian international was given the opportunity to join either Spurs or Russian club Zenit St Petersburg on loan in January but rejected the overtures as he felt he would have been given game time in Turin.
But Krasic has revealed it did not pan out the way he wanted and admits to ruing the missed loan chances.
"I decided to decline those options in the belief that I would be given chances at Juventus.
"That has proven to be a mistake and it would have been better if I had accepted one of those offers.""At the end of the transfer window in January, there were offers from Tottenham and Zenit for a loan deal," Krasic told Vecernje Novosti.
But Krasic has denied that he was an actual target for Tottenham's London rivals Chelsea, who were credited with a strong interest in him during the winter transfer window.
"There were many rumours about interest from Chelsea, but there was no contact with them and no offer. It was just paper talk," he added.
