Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon has jumped to the defence of underfire AC Milan No1 Dida after his antics at Celtic.

"In my opinion it all came down to one minute of confusion and then Dida already regretted what had happened," the Azzurri custodian stated.

"I don't know how FIFA or UEFA's justice system operates and I don't have any idea what action will be taken, but there is no need to crucify him."
