Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon says he's ready to return to first team action.

Buffon has revealed he is now ready to return to the first team following knee surgery last month.

"After a month out I am ready to re-enter. All of the post-operation phases have gone in the best way possible," Buffon wrote on his official website.

"In this period I have never had any problems and I have been able to work at my best to recover. Therefore, I count on being back between the sticks in Verona this weekend.

"We need continuity after last night's success with Napoli."
