Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon admitted he hid in a car boot to avoid Fiorentina fans as he left their stadium carpark last weekend - and revealed it wasn't the first time he's gone to extremes to fool opposition fans.

"Once, in order not to be recognized by opposing tifosi, I wore a clown mask!" said Buffon. "The match was the Coppa Italia tie between Fiorentina and Parma back in 1999, which ended 2-2.
