Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon admits he regrets not playing in the Premier League.

Buffon concedes he'd like to have experienced the stadiums in England.

“I would've liked to play in the Premier League, to experience the environment and the atmosphere there is around English football," he told Marca.

“My secret is to have grown up and developed in conjunction with the evolution of the sport.

“I've matured, not only in my behaviour, but what keeps me at the top level is the fact that I love the competition and this is an essential aspect of my work.

“When I was young I was a midfielder and in today's game a good goalkeeper must not only know how to use their hands but also their feet, so they can begin an action or play the ball to the defence."
