Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon is confident being fit for their clash with AC Milan.

Buffon returned from international duty carrying an injury.

“The chances are good that I'll be there," Buffon told Mediaset.

“The most significant match for me is my debut 20 years ago, because it was my introduction to the big leagues.

“The memory of my debut is indelible, the trepidation and also confidence that I felt for such an important match against Milan.

“That excitement and joy has never left me. [Nevio] Scala knocked on my door and asked if I felt ready to play.

“I said 'of course, otherwise what am I here to do?'"
