Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon was thrilled with their dominant victory over AS Roma tonight. Juve thumped Roma 3-0 to go eight points clear of the Giallorossi at the top of the table.
"Those are significant numbers for Juventus, it was first class. A deserved scoreline, defeats make you think and Fiorentina made us grow," said Buffon.
"The statements of Totti? He was not the only one. It's an alibi for those who lose.
"Roma? I must say honestly they were in the game, they have created many headaches and we won at the right moments.
"It was an important victory, but as I said before, Roma impressed and we must not relax."
