Juventus want to extend the loan of Southampton striker Dani Osvaldo into next season.
Osvaldo was shipped out to the Italian giants on loan in January following a training ground bust-up with teammate Jose Fonte.
Juve were expected to make a move to take the £14.5m striker on a permanent deal.
But The Sun says the Serie A champs allowed a May 31 deadline to pass and have now expressed an interest in taking Osvaldo on load instead.
