Juventus are jumping into the battle for Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez.

While England has been mooted as the most likely destination for the Colombian this summer, he came closest to leaving Madrid for Italy in January.

James confirmed that Inter Milan had met his asking price, but he refused to leave.

However, James' situation at Real hasn't improved and his agent, Jorge Mendes, is now circulating his name across Europe.

Juve, with one foot in the Champions League final, have responded positively to Mendes' approach and are prepared to explore a deal.

However, any move to Turin for James will rest on Real dropping their current €80 million asking price.
