Barcelona defender Rafael Marquez is eyeing a move to Italy after the World Cup.

Tuttosport says Marquez has instructed his lawyer Enrique Nieto to meet with Barca officials to discuss the prospect of gaining a free transfer this summer.

"After the World Cup I will decide my future, should I get an interesting offer I will carefully examine it," said the Mexico international.

Juventus and Inter Milan are waiting on developments and will step in should Barca agree to release Marquez from his contract.
