Juventus have upped the stakes over their bid for Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi.

Rossi is aware of Juve's interest and the Bianconeri are willing to offer David Trezeguet as part of a swap for the Italy international.

Juve intend to add the Frenchman to a cash bid of £15 million for Rossi, whose buyout clause is set at £40 million.
