Juventus to include Melo in offer for Villarreal striker Rossi

Juventus are willing to use Felipe Melo to boost their hopes of landing Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Juve GM Beppe Marotta met with Rossi's agent yesterday to discuss a return to Italy for the ex-Parma junior.

Marotta sees Rossi as an alternative to Atletico Madrid ace Sergio Aguero, who is also wanted by Manchester City and Real Madrid.

And the Juve powerbroker hopes to smooth negotiations with Villarreal by including midfielder Melo in their offer for the Italy striker.

what happened to that 150 mill transfer money juventus told their fans they had to spend?the garbage juve have lied to their fans again.it proves they're a no ambition club that only sell false dreams.they make me sick everytime i come here and see all these glorious articles about who they want, how much they got ect.all juve news should be in the comics sections of all newspapers than in the sports.

@Anonymous Wed, 07/06/2011 - 23:27.---- offcourse , melo was out of pitch in his first season but he was far better in his second season with juventus// in fact he along with krasic and adp were only a few stand out players last season// honestly , i'm not interested in parting with his contract after showing a whole lot of improvement last season and also there are not many players of his quality availabe at the market right now with modest price/

Wasn't Melo voted worst player in Serie A a couple years back and in the running to win it last year???

How is he considered a makeweight other than Andaya's suggestion.
