Juventus have been hit by a triple injury blow after their friendly against Real Zaragoza.

Juve lost 2-1 in Spain in a game which saw Antonio Nocerino, Raffaele Palladino and Jean-Alain Boumsong all injured.

"It was a very tough game," said Juve coach Claudio Ranieri. "As I said beforehand, the result was not the important thing. I wanted to play everyone so they could regain match fitness.

"Unfortunately, I could not do that because Zaragoza played in a very aggressive manner and I was forced to make my substitutions earlier than expected."
