Pavel Nedved is close to agreeing a new TWO-YEAR contract with Juventus.

After earlier indicating he was ready to retire, it's emerged that the veteran midfielder is in advanced negotiations over a two-year Juve deal.

Nedved struck twice against Bologna last night and coach Claudio Ranieri remarked: "Do you think this is now a joke? That we're seriously talking about a two-year deal for Pavel ...?"
