The agent of Juventus midfielder Sergio Almiron has confirmed an offer from Olympiacos has arrived.
"I can confirm an offer from the Greeks," said Claudio Vagheggi on Wednesday. "But I can also state that a number of other important European clubs have been in touch too, as well as River Plate.
"For now it seems as if the club want to keep him for at least until the end of the season.
"There is a desire to give him a chance and the player himself wants to repay the club for that kind of belief.
"However, the transfer window is about to open and things can change from one minute to another in this game.
"Saying that, I would expect him to remain. If he is sold then that would only occur at the end of the season.
"For now, Almiron is calm seeing as he has a five-year contract. We will then evaluate everything at the end of the campaign."
