Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli insists the board is pleased with coach Claudio Ranieri.

He said: "I am very satisfied with Ranieri. Remember, we are second in the table. It seems to me that he has brought the squad on from last year and they are improving.

"He still has a contract with us and it will be respected," Cobolli Gigli affirmed. "Yesterday he gave a great show as a Coach, bringing on Seba Giovinco and playing Tiago."
