Juventus GM Beppe Marotta has played down talk of a deal for Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini.
Marotta underlined that the player will stay at Sampdoria even though the Blucerchiati have been knocked out in the Champions League preliminary.
"Pazzini is a really good player but he plays for Sampdoria," said Marotta.
"We are working to complete our squad and cover the last gaps. We are missing a defender still.
"Regarding forwards, we have got four: Alessandro Del Piero, Amauri, Vincenzo Iaquinta and Fabio Quagliarella."
