Juventus GM Beppe Marotta has responded to the anger from Fiorentina over their bid for new Fulham signing Dimitar Berbatov.
Juve's bid to net the Bulgarian has been heavily criticised by Fiorentina who have blamed Juve for interfering with their proposed swoop for the forward.
"I hope to come across President Andrea Della Valle soon so that we can clear up this Berbatov situation, but I want to underline that we didn't do anything wrong towards Fiorentina.
"We made an enquiry after the player had already turned down the Viola, but it all ended quickly because he told us that he preferred Fulham."
