Juventus GM Beppe Marotta concedes holding onto Paul Pogba was an unlikely option last summer.
Pogba left Juve for Manchester United in a €100 million deal.
Marotta admits the player's wage demands would've become an issue for management if he'd stayed.
"Pogba's salary? It was not a problem," he told Tuttosport.
"We could offer him more, but it could have created problems in the dressing room that we did not want."
