Juventus GM Beppe Marotta says Paul Pogba deserves his pay-hike. The France international has extended his contract with Juve until June 2019, with it expected to increase his salary from 1.5m to as much as 4.5m.
"We deem the salary increase for Pogba appropriate to his value," Marotta has told a shareholders' meeting.
"I remind you that in the Bayern battleship which beat Roma, there are many players who earn more than 10m."
