Juventus GM Beppe Marotta has cast doubt on making his "top player" signing.

Marotta had pledged to bring a 'top player' to Turin for the Champions League squad.

"The definition 'top player' is vague. For example, how would we describe Kwadwo Asamoah, who scored a great goal today?

"Or Andrea Pirlo, Mirko Vucinic and Sebastian Giovinco? We are looking at the market, but this squad deservedly won the Scudetto and the Super Cup."
