Juventus GM Beppe Marotta admits they did try to sign Fiorentina attacker Stevan Jovetic over the summer.

Marotta revealed their approach for Jovetic was not entirely unwelcome.

"We received positive feedback from the player and his entourage, but talking about anything else is pointless now."
