Juventus GM Beppe Marotta expects to close a deal for Wolfsburg defender Andrea Barzagli today.
Marotta say Barzagli will be their final signing for the winter market.
"The January transfer window is a difficult one because Juventus are looking for players who can increase the quality of the team," Marotta said.
"We're not buying for the sake of buying and right now I don't think there are any important players available.
"Barzagli? He's an opportunity that arose and is a player who will be of use to the cause. We're sorting out a few things, we're optimistic and hopefully it will all be wrapped up tomorrow."
