Juventus GM Beppe Marotta insists Claudio Marchisio is a required player next season. Marchisio was linked yesterday with a swap for Manchester United winger Nani.
But Marotta says: "We have renewed his contract, he is considered an important player, one of the few that has come from our youth team.
"We have absolutely no intention to lose him, this is only journalistic invention."
