Juventus GM Marotta convinced landing Villarreal striker Rossi

Juventus GM Beppe Marotta admits they're closing in on a deal for Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi.

It's well known they had meetings with Villarreal for the striker this week and put their focus on him after Atletico Madrid rejected their €35m bid for Sergio Aguero.

"We are working without haste, but are focused on many objectives," Marotta told tuttojuve at the Bardonecchia pre-season training ground.

"Rossi? We're getting there, it's true, but we are also tracking other players."

The 24-year-old is available for €25m plus a player, who is expected to be Felipe Melo.
