Juventus GM Jean-Claude Blanc has defended the summer signing of former Sevilla midfielder Christian Poulsen.
The Bianconeri's midfield has been criticised for a lack of creativity, but Blanc says: "We do not regret buying Poulsen. We considered his signature very carefully and I am sure in the next few games Poulsen will prove - and continue to prove - he has the qualities we need in our midfield.
"Amauri was one of the most important summer signings, but having said that, every transfer window is an opportunity to increase the quality of the squad. We showed that last season by bringing in Momo Sissoko.
"If there are opportunities and shared choices to improve, then we leave the door open to move on the market."
