Juventus fullback Cristian Molinaro admits he escaped being sent-off during last night's 1-0 defeat at Chelsea.

The full-back received a yellow card for a studs up challenge on John Obi Mikel and moments later got away with another tough challenge in midfield.

"Admittedly, I was afraid on the second foul. The first was hard on Obi Mikel, but I did intend to go for the ball. I could've hurt him and I am really sorry about that, I don't usually do these things.

"I could easily have been sent off for the second foul, but the referee was kind and gave me another chance," smiled Molinaro.
