Juventus fullback De Ceglie fit for preseason kickoff

Juventus fullback Paolo de Ceglie says he's fit for the start of preseason.

De Ceglie fractured his kneecap in October's win at Milan, a setback which basically ended his campaign.

"I'm now fine and I can't wait to get straight back to work," the left-back, who can also be used in midfield, told Juventus Channel.

"After a brief holiday we're getting going again," he continued. "I've had a rest and I'm now raring to go."

De Ceglie will be bossed by Antonio Conte this season after the latter replaced the sacked Gigi Del Neri following last season's struggles.

"Conte shares the same desire to get going. His arrival will bring immense enthusiasm to the whole squad," he added.

"As far as the players are concerned there's a will to have a great season, as individuals, but above all as a group."
