Juventus eager for quick cash from player sales

Juventus are eager to clearout their fringe players after a major signing spree. Sportmediaset says having welcomed Diego, Felipe Melo and Martin Caceres, Juve are keen to find buyers for Christian Poulsen, Sergio Almiron and Marcelo Zalayeta.

Juve hope Liverpool push through a deal for Poulsen, while they're keen to sell Almiron to promoted Livorno.

In Zalayeta's case, a move to Brazil has been mooted for the Uruguay international, who spent last season on-loan at Napoli.

Juve hope to raise around £7 million from the trio's sale.
