Juventus deliver Arsenal's Van Persie deadline to accept offer
Juventus have given Arsenal striker Robin van Persie a transfer ultimatum. The Mirror says Juventus gave van Persie's agent Kees Vos a deadline of Tuesday August 7 for RvP make up his mind on his future - or they will pull out and look elsewhere.
The Italian champions are growing fed-up of waiting for van Persie - especially after Vos' colleague Carl Thomas tweeted that the fact Juve coach Antonio Conte is facing a lengthy ban in connection with allegations of match-fixing was "hardly the advert" for Serie A.
Juventus have had one bid for van Persie turned down and it is understood they have been back in touch - but their latest proposal has also fallen short, even though they are willing to give him a five-year deal worth £190,000-a-week.
