West Ham United are believed to close to signing Juventus defender Angelo Ogbonna, according to reports from dailymail.co.uk.
The 27-year-old Italian is set to fly to London this week to discuss the possibility of a move to Upton Park.
Earlier this month West Ham co-chairman David Gold mistakenly used a photo of Ogbonna to accompany a tweet welcoming new signing Pedro Obiang to the club.
Now it appears Ogbonna is set to join Obiang in the English capital, with the Hammers frontrunners for his signature.
Ogbonna has made 10 international appearances for Italy.
