Juventus defender Olof Mellberg is again being linked with a return to Aston Villa.

The Birmingham Mail says Mellberg is set to hold talks over his future at Juventus which could lead to his exit after only 12 months.

Martin O'Neill has already distanced himself from any move for the 31-year-old but that may not necessarily be an end of the matter should Mellberg now demand a move with two years still on his contract.

Greek side Olympiacos are reported to be interested in Mellberg who says he wants to hold imminent talks to discover if he has a future.
