Paolo De Ceglie has earned a contract extension from Juventus due to his brilliant form this season.

The new deal will see the 22-year old defender remain with the Bianconeri until 2013.

"I am very happy that the club have shown such belief in me," De Ceglie enthused on the club's official website.

"This extension of my contract is recognition for the years of sacrifice and will mean that I take on new and greater responsibilities.

"I want to thank Juve for the faith they have in me and the fans for the great affection they have shown."
