Juventus defender Daniele Rugani WANTS to join Chelsea this summer.

Chelsea are preparing a move for £17.5million-rated Juventus star Rugani with the defender's future up in the air.

The 23-year-old Italian international has struggled for playing time in Turin despite being highly-rated.

Italian media sources say Rugani's agent Davide Torchia held a meeting yesterday with Juve director of sport Fabio Paratici to try and secure his client's release.

He is under contract until June 2021 at the Old Lady.
