Juventus defender Daniele Rugani has struck personal terms with Chelsea.
A five-year contract worth over £4m-a-season has been settled between Chelsea and Rugani's agent, Davide Torchia.
Fali Ramadani – who brokered Maurizio Sarri's move to Stamford Bridge – met with Torchia and Juve director of sport Fabio Paratici yesterday in Milan.
Sportitalia says personal terms were agreed, while Chelsea also are prepared to pay €50m to sign the defender.
Just yesterday, Sarri stated: "I spoke with the club and ideally I think that a pinch of quality is lacking in our centre-halves for a certain type of play."
