Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini has no doubts they are on the right road with coach Gigi del Neri.
Chiellini responded to criticism of Juventus' defence, which has already conceded nine goals this season.
"We let in too many goals, but only because we have changed a lot, both players and coaches, and we need to adapt to the new tactics," he said.
"All the mister's teams needed a little time at the beginning. We'll also manage it step by step. I soon hope to be able to celebrate a few 1-0s.
"If Inter and Milan keep going straight with any dips, we'll have little to do in the title race, but if they have a dip, we must be good enough to profit from it.
"Our objective is to qualify for the Champions League, it's too important for us.
"I hope to win the Scudetto, but if I weren't to do it, I hope Allegri does as he is from Livorno like me. I have known him for years. He is a great person."
