Giorgio Chiellini has hailed his defensive partnership with Juventus teammate Leonardo Bonucci.
Bonucci has been able to settle quickly since his summer arrival from Bari.
"Leo is doing really well," Chiellini told Tuttosport.
"At the start the phenomenal Milos Krasic relegated all of the new signings to the second tier, but all of the buys were spot on - and that includes Leo."
The Chiellini-Bonucci partnership has looked a little exposed at times this term, but things have been steadily improving.
"Our understanding is getting better, it is just a matter of time," Chiellini, who also partners Bonucci for Italy, added.
"With Nicola Legrottaglie we know what each of us would do with our eyes shut and soon that will be the case with Bonucci too.
"There is a great feeling between us. He is getting better alongside me, but I am also getting better alongside him.
"Our characteristics are a little different. He's very cool when he looks to build up play from the back, whereas I'm a bit more concrete. But these diversities stimulate us."
