Juventus are planning a bid for Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic. Corriere dello Sport says Juve are seriously discussing the prospect of signing Subotic before the summer market shuts. The youngster was watched all last season by Juve scouts.
Dortmund rate Subotic in the £10 million class and are convinced his price-tag will skyrocket if they can keep hold of him for another 12 months.
Meanwhile, Ciro Ferrara is winning praise for the way he has avoided entering a row with Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho.
The Special One has given Italy coach Marcello Lippi both barrels for questioning Inter's title credentials this season, but in Ferrara's case, the Juve coach has played it cool.
Regularly asked if Juve have closed the gap on the champions, Ferrara has always replied with: "We will see on the field, that 's how it will be decided. I am only interested in my team."
