Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri has shrugged off the complaints of Alessandro del Piero. Del Piero was left on the bench for last night's 1-0 victory over Udinese and La Repubblicca says the Bianconeri skipper left the stadium unhappy.

But Ranieri insists: "He's a great player, last year initially he had some physical problems and had to spend time out of the team. But then he got himself back into shape and, since in my opinion he was very strong, played the rest of the season.

"It will be the same this year. The ones who play are those who are in shape."
