Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri has revealed he held clear-the-air talks with Giorgio Chiellini when it appeared he would be moving to England in the summer.
Chiellini struck in Sunday's victory over Cagliari and Ranieri said: "I always try to listen to my players. One of the keys of my management has always been to find the right way to listen to every player.
"Chiellini has a big personality, he is a golden boy. He knows he made a mistake when talking to the press about leaving.
"When that happened, we had a frank exchange of opinions between ourselves and now the issue is over."
