Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara recalled youngsters Michele Paolucci and Iago Falque and rushed them into his squad for their clash with Chievo.
Amauri is suspended for the meeting with Chievo, adding to an injury list that includes David Trezeguet, Mauro Camoranesi, Christian Poulsen, Vincenzo Iaquinta and Martin Caceres.
This means the club has recalled youth team players Paolucci from Siena and Yago from Bari, effective immediately.
"Paolucci is in good shape, it is very satisfying for him to come back here. He is very motivated and fired up, he can give us a real hand. It is a great opportunity for him and with humility he can find his place in the squad.
"Will he start against Chievo tomorrow? It is an option. This game is tougher than our trip to Parma, as Chievo are on form and I don't trust my friend Mimmo Di Carlo.
"I want to see the same spirit, attitude and attention to detail that I saw midweek against Napoli," said Ferrara of the 3-0 Coppa Italia win.
