Juventus coach Ferrara admits they can't find consistency

Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara admits they muddled through their 1-0 Champions League win over Maccabi Haifa last night.

Mauro Camoranesi grabbed the winner for Juve, which struggled for cohesion.

"The standings are good for us, but there are two games left and they become decisive. Naturally we hope to win in Bordeaux and qualify a round early," said Ferrara.

"Clearly tonight's victory was very important, but I said after that opening draw that Juve would not stop.

"In some circumstances undoubtedly the tension starts to take effect when you can't kill off the game, especially a few days after losing a Serie A match we were leading 2-0.

"There were a few struggles, but I think overall the victory was deserved."

Despite losing Sebastian Giovinco to injury just before the game, Ferrara stuck with his 4-2-3-1 system and used Tiago on the left.

"[Martin] Caceres also impressed in one of his first games for us this season. Tonight the performance was positive.

"We may not have been spectacular, but between entertaining play and three points, I'll take the points."
