Juventus are interested in Arsenal captain Thomas Vermaelen.
Tuttosport says Vermaelen's signing has been requested by Juve coach Antonio Conte during a transfer summit last week.
The Belgium international has also been linked with Manchester United after struggling for regular first team action this season.
Vermaelen's agent, Kees Vos, also takes care of Robin van Persie and was able to build a relationship with Juve directors when the Bianconeri were courting the United striker while he was still with Arsenal in the summer of 2012.
